Presented by Cuban choreographer, dancer, drummer, singer, and storyteller, Juan Carlos Blanco, this production will feature songs, stories, and dances to the major universal archetypes as carried by Afro-Cuban tradition: Eleggua, Oggun, Chango, Oshun, Yemaya, Oya, and Obatala.
A brief lecture presented by the Friends of Jung (FoJ) on Jung and the Archetypes, ritual and individuation though work with the symbols and energy of the unconscious, will precede the performance.
