Presented by the California Center for the Arts, Escondido, as part of the Wow First Wednesdays program. Hailing from the South Pacific islands of Tonga, San Diego-based musician Semisi Ma?u mixes Polynesian rhythms with other musical styles to create what he calls ?Bula Music,? named after a Fijian greeting. His two sons, Keli Ross-Ma?u, on steel drums and keyboard, and multi-instrumentalist Tonga Ma?u make up FulaBula.
