In celebration of the Puerto Rican holiday Dia de San Juan, the House of Puerto Rico's lawn program will be a two-day event this weekend.
On Saturday there will be entertainment provided by DJ Rick "La Voz" Criss, Angie Freeman Reinitas Boricanas & Jovenes Boricuas, as well as Soldiers Who Salsa.
Sunday will feature DJ Rick "La Voz" Criss along with live music including a Cuatro performance by Mr. Water Rivera. Food such as Rice with Pinto Beans or Pigeon Peas (arroz con habichuelas ? arroz con gandules), Deep Fried Meat Turnover (flour: pastelillos or plantain: alcapurrias), Cod fish fritters (bacalaitos) and the popular desert Flan will begin being served at 10:00 AM until it is sold out.
