Sip a glass of iced mint tea, and let author Kitty Morse introduce you to the culture and cuisine of her native Morocco. During the 40-minute Power Point presentation featuring her book, Mint Tea and Minarets: a banquet of Moroccan memories, Kitty invites you to step into Dar Zitoun, her family?s historic riad (Moorish mansion) south of Casablanca, meet her friends and relatives, and learn the history behind family recipes handed down through the generations. A sampling, book signing and short culinary demonstration will follow the presentation.

Casablanca-born Kitty Morse?s career as cooking teacher and author spans close to 30 years. She has authored ten cookbooks, five of them on Moroccan cuisine, and has been a guest on radio and television nationwide. Her latest book, a memoir with recipes titled Mint Tea and Minarets: a banquet of Moroccan memories, was named Best Arab Cuisine Book by the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.
