Join the Center for World Music at the exquisite Pantai Inn in La Jolla for an intimate sunset recital of Javanese gamelan gadhon, a traditional chamber ensemble playing music of the Javanese royal court. The evening will include compositions curated by Tyler Yamin in tribute to a revered teacher of Javanese gamelan. Light Indonesian hors d?oeuvres and a mixed tropical fruit coconut cocktail will be served. Proceeds will support world music education in schools across San Diego.
