Each year the Department of Ethnic Studies hosts the Labovitz-Perez Lecture event, in honor of founding visionary faculty who placed serving students and community at the heart of all of their work. The lecture series features intellectuals and public scholars who, through their work, embody the spirit of Ethnic Studies that inspires us and our students.
