Diwali, one of India?s most important festivals will be celebrated with food, music and art at Balboa Park.

The holiday commemorates the idea of light over darkness and Balboa Park will be decorated with traditional brass lamps as various cultural events take place throughout the day.

Get henna paintings at the Mingei, sample Indian food and hear music at the Organ Pavilion, and see folk dancers and traditional art at the San Diego Museum of Art.
