Written by playwright Carlos Morton, Johnny Tenorio is a modern Chicano version of the classic story of Don Juan. Morton's play was inspired by Spanish playwrights Tirso de Molina and Jos? Zorrilla, whose versions of the legend of the repentant rake have become traditions in Spain and Latin America starting on the Day of the Dead, November 1st, and running through November.
