Peter K. Nunez, J.D. ? Former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Enforcement, will present a ?Review of Current Issues and Status of U.S. International Border Security, Drugs, Terrorism & Immigration to the U.S.? In addition to speaking about U.S. border issues, he will also discuss similarities of issues raised by the current mass immigration into Europe as compared with U.S. border and immigration policies and experiences.
Mr. Nunez has represented the U.S. in many international negotiations relating to money laundering, and he has worked with the governments of Georgia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, Turkey, Brazil, Israel, China and India. He served as an U.S. Attorney from 1982 to 1988. Mr. Nunez is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center for Immigration Studies in Washington D.C, and a former member of the Board of Visitors at the University of San Diego School of Law.
