From the madrigals of the sixteenth century, through romantic part songs by Mendelssohn and Schumann, to a selection of international folksongs, Amarcord, founded in 1992 and comprised of five former Thomaskirche choir members, delivers a varied and exciting program. Amarcord?s hallmarks include a unique tone, breathtaking homogeneity, musical authenticity, and a good dose of charm and humor.
