Every year, the Vietnamese Student Association at SDSU holds a film festival with a common theme for filmmakers across Southern California Vietnamese Student Associations to participate and compete against each other in. Exhibition films and performances also make up the event, making it a showcase of creativity in media while also celebrating the diversity of filmmaking and ideas, as well as the spirit of networking and friendly competition within the Union of Vietnamese Student Associations in Southern California.
