The Edible Flowers Adventure will be an intimate gathering with award-winning author and fabulous cook, Kitty Morse. In her latest book, Kitty delves into a taste bud adventure with flowers, creating delicately scented dishes like orange blossom water custard with candied flowers & seasonal berries and delectable flower & grilled eggplant wraps. Your Adventure includes a demonstration & tasting of recipes found in Edible Flowers, book, a book discussion, Q&A, author signing, and an opportunity to meet the author up close & personal in an exclusive and authentic setting. Books are included in the ticket price and will be delivered at the event for author signing. If you would like an additional copy, pre-orders are available below.
Award-winning author, Kitty Morse was born in Casablanca, Morocco, of a French mother and British father. She emigrated to the United States at the age of seventeen. While studying for her Master?s Degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Kitty catered Moroccan diffas (banquets), and went on to teach the intricacies of Moroccan cuisine in cooking schools and department stores nationwide. From 1983 to 2007, Kitty organized an annual tour to Morocco that included culinary demonstrations in her family home, a Moorish riad south of Casablanca.
Due to the special nature of this event, tickets will be limited. Registration will be on a first come, first serve basis.
