Chinese Golden Dragon Acrobats' history goes back to1967, when it was founded by Lien Chi Chang and his family. Between 1967 and 1984, Lien Chi toured the company to showcase several acrobat performances around many different countries. Later his son, Danny Chang took over his role to head the company while Lien Chi began coaching at the National Taiwan College of Performing Arts. Danny Chang led the company to newer heights of success and recognition. He chose America to embark upon his journey of making Golden Dragon Acrobats a world renowned name and the show made its debut in the US in 1985.
