Please join the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of San Dieguito Human Rights Task Force and Jewish Voice for Peace-San Diego for an authentic Palestinian dinner followed by a film screening and panel discussion on the situation in Palestine from a Palestinian Christian point of view. The media often frame the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as a fight between Muslims and Jews, but many Palestinians are Christian and many Christians were expelled from their homes when the state of Israel was created.
Our event begins with dinner followed by a screening of the film, The Stones Cry Out: The Plight of Palestinian Christians. A panel discussion will then conclude the event.
Admission/Cost: $10-15
(Suggested donation for the event is $15 for adults and $10 for students and youth. Payment accepted at the door. Proceeds go to a fund for Syrian refugees. Please RSVP to to reserve a seat.)
