The visiual artwork of nearly 70 artists from around Latin America, representing Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Guatemala, numerous cities of Mexico and those of Hispanic descent from the United States, will be highlighted in this two-day event. Participating artists were selected by an elite panel of judges.

The festival will offer the best of Baja cuisine, under the leadership of Chef Javier Plascencia, owner of renowned restaurants in Tijuana and San Diego such as ?Bracero Cocina?; as well as Jason McLeod from ?Ironside Fish & Oyster?; Karla Navarro and Mart?n Gonz?lez from ?The Kitchen San Diego?; Iker Castillo from ?Meraki? and Luis Madue?o with a new culinary concept. Latin inspired beers from Border X Brewery of Barrio Logan, and exclusive wines from the Baja Region will be offered at the LAAF gourmet food court.

On stage, there will be a continuous performing art program that will showcase the vibrancy of the Latin culture. Featured performances include: ?La Sinf?nica Juvenil de Tijuana?, (the Youth Symphony of Tijuana), will play classical pieces and Carlos Gardel?s Tangos; ?Ballet Folcl?rico IMAC? will bring colorful traditional Mexican dances; ?Ritmos Latinos? will be dancing Salsa tunes; and the well known artist Hugo Crosthwaite will present the musical performance ?Heroic?s Procession? based on immigration themes; among many others.

A Pop-up Fashion Show from InnovaModa will present emerging clothing designers from Tijuana through out the two-day festival. A children?s creative play Area will include paper flower making, mural painting and other fun activities.
