The Laurie Okuma Memorial Reading presents, Vievee Francis. Cave Canem fellow and award-winning poet, Vievee Francis, will read from her newest poetry collection, Forest Primeval. Francis is the recipient of the 2009 Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers? Award and the 2010 Kresge Artist Fellowship. Forest Primeval has been shortlisted for a 2016 PEN Literary Award.
