Dr. Suzanne Cahill, Tang dynasty specialist in the UCSD Chinese Studies program, explores the museum's extensive collection of Buddhist art, tracing the legacy of Buddhist monks who traveled from India to China and Japan and countries in between.
Taking place on the third Friday of every month, the Friday Morning Lecture & Tour Series focuses on works of art on view in the museum. Lectures are followed by a docent-led tour.
