San Diego Repertory Theatre presents "Just Like Us," a reading that's part of a national movement responding to the rescinding of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy.
Based o the novel by Helen Thorpe, this documentary-style play follows four teenage Latinas in Denver. Two are documented, two are not. Their friendship unravels when politics dictate opportunities, or lack of them.
A $20 donation guarantees a seat in the theater. Free admission will be given on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on availabilty.
