Ruth Goldschmiedova Sax is a Holocaust survivor and local San Diego resident, and now her story has been documented by her daughter, Sandra Scheller, in Try to Remember Never Forget. Ruth and her daughter will narrate the dramatic life circumstances that led her from her birthplace in central Czechoslovakia, to three concentration camps, and finally to her home in America. Sandra Scheller?s artistic life includes creating, designing costumes and clothing for film, theater and runway. She graduated from San Diego State University and received her teaching credentialing from UCLA. Their book will be available to purchase after the presentation.
