The Americas continue to be at a threshold of driving forward sustainable economic growth and prosperity against a backdrop of rapidly evolving approaches to trade and investment through trade liberalization and the emergence of new global, often ?non-traditional? investment partners.

Meanwhile, consolidating democracy, combating inequality, corruption and security challenges remain key areas for hemispheric collaboration and collective action. Indeed, these topics will also be central themes at the next Summit of the Americas being held in Lima, Peru in April 2018.
