OneSDSU Film Series: 'Sold'

STAT!, in partnership with OneSDSU, will be screening the education cut of the motion picture "Sold" on Nov. 2 at the Union Theatre in SDSU's Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.

A panel discussion will immediately follow with the focus on sex tourism and the legal issues of human trafficking along our binational border.

Different aspects of the topic will be covered by three panelists:
Alessandra P. Serano, Assistant U.S Attorney, will be discussing the federal laws against human trafficking and sex tourism.
Moises Alejandro Rivera Cruz from the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California will be providing a historical context to the current prostitution laws in Baja California.

Elizabeth Camarena, Esq, Associate Director at Casa Cornelia Law Center, will be sharing legal services available in the United States to victims of human trafficking.

Transportation:
Attendees are encouraged to use the trolley to SDSU. The Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union is directly above the trolley stop, and the Union Theatre is accessed from the second floor.

There is limited parking available for a fee.
