Join KOSD's board members, staff and community members for a light breakfast to learn more about the community of refugees from Burma here in San Diego. Hear stories about the beautiful Karen culture and its traditions. You will have the opportunity to learn about why many people have had to leave Burma and about the role that KOSD plays for the community.
Breakfast is from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Cultural performances and a Karen New Year ceremony will follow until noon when a delicious Karen/Burmese lunch will be served. You are welcome to come to all, or part of this free family-friendly event.
