It is also celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest.
People apply colors to each other, dance, eat and have fun on this day. CRY San Diego has been bringing this tradition to San Diego for the past few years, and has now become one of the biggest hosts for this event in San Diego for Indians and non-Indians.
