The gutsy, Grammy-winning band that defines klezmer?s edge teams up with a special guest artist who sings Black-Jewish soul that recalls Mahalia Jackson. This cross-cultural celebration of freedom songs from the Jewish and African-American traditions illustrates their spiritual common ground while weaving a musical story of inspiration and social action.
