One of the characteristics that distinguishes San Diego is the fact that Jews have been here since the beginning of statehood, and have helped build the city. While Jews were part of San Diego?s community fabric from the beginning, they also sometimes experienced challenges resulting from their minority status. This talk explores the historical experience of being both insiders and outsiders in America?s finest city.
