The San Diego Guitar Festival presents Shin-ichi Fukuda in a special concert event at the Carlsbad Library.
Established in 2016, the San Diego Guitar Festival promotes guitar artistry through educational opportunities and performances by world-class artists.
This concert will conclude Shin-ichi Fukuda's first tour in the U.S. in over 18 years. He will be featured at master classes, performances and lectures.
Mr. Fukuda possesses an astonishingly large repertoire that includes solo works, concerti, chamber music, and song accompaniments extending chronologically from the Renaissance to the 21st century.
Mr. Fukuda?s dedicated teaching career spans three decades with regular master classes around the world and multiple guest professor positions including Shanghai Conservatory; Osaka Music College; Elisabeth University of Music; Alicante Guitar Master in Spain; and Showa Music University. A prolific recording artist in his own right, Mr. Fukuda has to this day released a total of 84 albums since his record debut in 1984.
