Celebrate "Hanamatsuri": the Flower Festival for the birth of the Buddha. Discover what Buddhist taiko drumming is about (two performances each day) plus hands-on family workshop with taiko drums both days. There will also be a flower altar, Japanese dancers, children?s games, talks on Buddhist practice, shakuhachi aural meditation, sumi-e exhibits, farmers market and a garden booth.
