The SDCHM and the San Diego Chinese Art & Cultural Society will give a Renaissance Metal Engraving Seminar. Special guest artist Chien Cheng-Chen, the first metal engraver in Taiwan, will be joining us at SDCHM?s Chuang Archive and Learning Center for this unique presentation. Cheng-Chen has been interviewed widely on Taiwan television networks regarding his work; he will teach the engraving process though a video and the use of his own pieces including creations with an engraver machine.
