Musica Vitale presents a historical tour through the eyes of Armenian composers, in collaboration with Krounk String Quartet from Orquesta de Baja California, presenting works by Komitas, Altunyan and Khachaturyan. The program includes secular instrumental works and sacred liturgy sung in Armenian, conducted by Elena Vizuet; and the concert will be introduced by Dr. William Propp, UCSD professor emeritus of Near Eastern history.
