While many people have heard the phrase ?S?, se puede,? or are acquainted with the history of the National Farmworkers Association (NFW) or United Farm Workers (UFW), most do not know these were direct results Dolores Huerta?s organizing and activist efforts. Her legacy is an integral part of the history of American social justice movements and as the world continues to struggle against racial, gender, and environmental oppression, she is one of the guiding lights that can lead the way for future and current generations of activists who are working towards creating a more socially just and healthy world.
