Join the Mingei International Museum for a survey on the craft and history of Plains Indian ledger art, a genre of narrative drawings from the 19th century featured in VOLUMINOUS ART?Treasures, from San Diego's University Libraries. Professor Ross Frank, Associate Professor at UC San Diego and Director of the Plains Indian Ledger Art Digital Publishing Project, will contextualize these extraordinary drawings and detail his project to digitize and preserve this important art form.
