Moxie Theatre presents The Madres, a new play by Stephanie Alison Walker.
It?s 1978 in Argentina and people are disappearing off the street. Bel?n is pregnant and has been missing for 12 weeks. When her mother and grandmother receive a surprise visit from someone who may have the key to finding her, they?ll stop at nothing to get her back.
This play is based on the true story of the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo, whose protest forced the world to recognize the violence and murder happening in Argentina.
