For the first time in San Diego, for the Brittany celebration week, the Breizh Amerika Collective will perform. The Collective's initiative brings together innovative musicians from Brittany, France and the United States to collaboratively work to create and produce original music and bring awareness to endangered traditions while developing durable Transatlantic links of cooperation and understanding.
A marriage of music, traditions and culture has been at the heart of the Collective's project, striving to incite American audience to discover Breton music, but also to allow musicians to interpret and mix different styles and sounds (jazz, Celtic, World, swing, Latin and folk).
