For hundreds of years Japanese people have been coexistent and deeply connected with nature. This workshop aims to introduce two traditional Japanese cultures that emerged from such foundation: origami, an art of paper folding; and haiku, a Japanese-style poem. We will be using the wildlife in Escondido Creek as our inspiration.
