The House of Peru will be hosting a celebration for Peru, "Inti Raymi—2018" on the International Cottages' lawn and outdoor stage.
Their lawn program takes place every year, usually during or around the first week of August. They will have entertainment by folkloric dancers, who will fascinate the audience with their beautiful dances in colorful costumes.
They will serve typical Peruvian food: Arroz con Pollo (rice chicken), Papa a la Huancaina (potatoes with creamy-cheese sauce) and Picarones (fluffy yucca-yam doughnuts served with molasses syrup). To accompany these delicious plates, there is nothing better than the Peruvian national soda: Inca Kola. Usually the Peruvian menu at this event will be the same as our House's menu at December Nights.
