Rising star Australian conductor Benjamin Bayl makes his North American debut leading the production of this baroque operatic gem.
Bayl has conducted at many of Europe?s most prestigious opera houses, including the Wiener Staatsoper, Dutch National Opera and Staatsoper Berlin.
Directed by Jennifer Williams, this comic tale of a capricious queen and her confused and tangled up band of suitors features surreal twists and plays with gender-fluidity.
