The San Diego Diplomacy Council, in partnership with the Kensington Concert Series, is very excited to host the Brazilian virtuoso Hamilton de Holanda. Hamilton is one of the most acclaimed Brazilian musicians, with a career full of awards. He renewed the history of the mandolin by adding two extra strings to the instrument and a creating a unique technique for it. Hamilton performs all over the world with different ensembles and collaborations. From solo to orchestras, from samba to jazz, from clubs to big crowds, and collaborations and recording with names like Wynton Marsalis, Chucho Vald?s, Stefano Bollani, Richard Galliano, John Paul Jones(Led Zeppelin) and Chic Corea just to name a few.
