Director Eran Kolirin takes on cross-cultural relations in this spry and charming tale. The members of the Alexandria Police Ceremonial Orchestra have arrived in Israel to play at the opening of an Arab Cultural Center, but through a series of miscomunications and a wrong-bus ride, they find themselves trapped in a small town, in the middle of nowhere. The residents of the little town, with no hotel and no cultural center, are excited for a break in the daily monotony and welcome their Egyptian guests for the night. In Hebrew, Arabic and English with English subtitles. Discussion after the film with instructor Ralph DeLauro in the Synagogue at Secrest Village.
