The show is a theatrical adaptation of Saint Exup?ry work, which brings together several adventures experienced by the author when he was a pilot at the A?ropostale.

A man of today during a plane trip falls asleep reading ?Terre des hommes." In his dream he meets St Exup?ry and they will live again together the story of the book, the fabulous journey of these pioneers who were among the first to discover the earth seen from the sky. From its beginnings at l?A?ropostale in 1920 to its crash in Libya in 1935, it is the quest of a man in search of meaning in the closed and fragile world of an aircraft cabin struggling with the elements. ?Man reveals himself by measuring himself against the obstacle...," Saint Exup?ry tells us. And, from this tormented sky he discovers a land where the lights are getting closer. ?We must try to join forces...." This quest for brotherhood is also the message that St Exup?ry is sending us.

In the show, the man on the plane will become all those characters that Saint Exup?ry will meet during his missions: his superiors, his teammates and these strangers, during unexpected encounters in the hostile and unexplored lands of Africa.

Terre des hommes is a collection of autobiographical essays by Antoine de Saint-Exup?ry, published in February 1939 in France, where he received the Grand Prix du Roman de l?Acad?mie Fran?aise, then in the United States in June, under the title of Wind, Sand and Stars (National Book Award, 1939).
