Latino Music Festival at SeaWorld

SeaWorld San Diego kicks off its Viva La M?sica festival of Latin music, food and fireworks. Enjoy four weekends of international headlining Latin artists (including Grammy winners) perform nortena, Latin pop & salsa.

Scheduled Performers:

Julieta Venegas - April 30 (8:00 PM)
Julieta Venegas is a Mexican singer, instrumentalist, and songwriter who performs Spanish-language rock and pop music. Venegas, who rew up in Tijuana, began studying music at the age of eight and went on to join several bands, including Tijuana No! before starting a career on her own. In addition to singing and writing her own songs, she plays instruments including acoustic guitar, accordion and keyboard. She has won two Latin Grammys and one Grammy.

Flex - May 1 (8:00 PM)
Felix Gomez is a Panamanian Latin Grammy Award winning reggaeton artist, known by his stage name Flex. Flex is well known for his single "Te Quiero" from his album "Te Quiero: Romantic Style In Da World." He has been nominated for many awards such as Latin Grammys, Premios Lo Nuestro, Premios Juventud, Premios Telehit and more.

Banda el Recono de Cruz Lisarraga - May 7 (8:00 PM)
For more than 65 years, Banda el Recodo has given Mexican and international audiences award winning songs and performances. Multi Grammy and Latin Grammy winners, Banda el Recodo have collaborated with the greatest singers and songwriters in Latin America. Like true pioneers of their genre, they have produced more than 190 albums and compilations.

Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan - May 8 (8:00 PM)
Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan is a Mexican folk ensemble of mariachi music created in 1897 by Gaspar Vargas. From 1950 it has been under the artistic guidance of the Ruben Fuentes. The group's musical direction has been the responsibility of Don Jose "Pepe" Martinez since 1975.

Reik - May 14 (8:00 PM)
Latin Pop trio Reik formed in Mexicali, Baja California, in 2003. Three singles crossed over to the U.S. Latin pop charts, and in mid-2005 Reik mounted a brief U.S. tour; the trio also received a Latin Grammy nomination in the Best New Artist category.

Camila - May 15 (8:00 PM)
Camila is a Mexican soft rock group which reached staggering success in their home country and all over Latin America upon the release of their debut album "Todo Cambio." The group includes Mario Domm, singer, musician and songwriter who has been producer of major hits for Alejandra Guzman, Reyli, Kalimba, Paulina Rubio and Thalfa.

AB Quintailla y Kumbia All Starz - May 21 (8:00 PM)
A Mexican-American band lead by singer and songwriter AB Quintanilla incorporates the traditional sound of Tex-Mex culture and music with modern hip-hop and rap.

Elvis Crespo - May 22 (8:00 PM)
With his mastery of the Dominican Republic's merengue tradition. New York-born and Puerto Rican-raised vocalist Elvis Crespo wasted no time in reaching the apex of contemporary Latin music, bringing fresh sounds to samba, merengue and Latin pop.
