Hawaii - A Voice For Sovereignty, the winner of seven prestigious national and international awards, will show at UC San Diego.The film explores the social, economic, and ecological issues that have developed in Hawai`i since the illegal overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom by the US in 1893. The event is free to the public, and food will be served. There will be live music, Hawaiian cultural protocol as well as a panel discussion after the film.Onsite parking is available and free.
