Opening Saturday, June 11, at the San Diego Museum of Man (SDMoM) "Modern Day Mummy: The Art & Science of Mummification" will focus on the fascinating subject of mummification, and the scientific inquiry and intrigue that surrounds mummies. Modern Day Mummy will showcase various types of mummies, both intentionally and naturally preserved, and illuminate how current research is performed on mummies, and what scientists hope to learn.
