Celebrate Peruvian Independence Day (perhaps a little late; the actual date of the holiday is July 28) with the House of Per?. Enjoy an afternoon in Balboa Park with your family and friends. There will be a performance of indigenous music and dance and food, arts and crafts will be sold.
Typical Peruvian food will be served: Arroz con Pollo (Rice Chicken), Papa a la Huancaina (Potatoes with creamy-cheese sauce), Picarones (fluffy yucca-yam doughnuts served with molasses syrup) and to accompany this delicious plates nothing better than the Peruvian national soda: Inca Kola.
