The San Diego Italian Film Festival and the Italian American Academy presents the grand opening celebration of the Italian American Academy, San Diego's newest bilingual language academy. We will present ?Seguendo la Linea?, a mix of Italian cartoons by beloved cartoonist Osvaldo Cavandoli and his prot?g? Piero Tonin. The program is set to please children and adults alike.
The Italian American Academy is a not-for-profit organization of parents and educators whose ultimate goal is to develop fully bilingual and bicurricular scholastic programs for children. Blending rigorous European curriculum and dynamic American teaching style, our programs are based on the current and official elementary school curriculum of Italy. Our classes are taught by mother tongue educators and are open to all children.
