Fun kicks off with grand parade of windjammers on San Diego Bay by more than a dozen vessels (September 1, 11:00 AM). Best shore viewing from the Maritime Museum, Cabrillo National Monument, Shelter Island, Harbor Island, North Embarcadero. Ships should be docked by 2:00 PM. September 2-5, tour more than 20 tall ships and other vessels from around the world. Enjoy live entertainment (Eve Selis, Rondstadt Generations, Navy Band Southwest and Chicago Six Jazz), food and drink from dozens of restaurant booths, family activity area, petting zoo, more than 150 festival vendors.
