Silvia Valentino and Carlos Castrejon, founders of Studio C Contemporary in El Cajon, CA, are pleased to host their first International show, ?Des-Hechos? beginning September 2011. The exhibit encompasses the works of 19 Mexican, Mexican-American, and Bulgarian sculptors. The exhibit is a traveling show that is presently on view in Ensenada, BC and has already visited many of the bordering cities such as Tijuana, Mexicali, and Tecate. The sculptures are envisioned to be created by discarded materials that are re-contextualized and/or recycled to bring forward the artists' visions. This will be the first visit of the show on this side of the border and Studio C Contemporary is proud to be its first hosts here. In Mexico, the exhibition has been sponsored by the Baja California government, the City of Ensenada, Rotary organizations and other businesses.
