Border Field State Park: Then and Now festival celebrates the 40th birthday of the State Park & the 160th anniversary of the border monument. Entertainment includes a Border Field Timeline of History skit; Californio period, mariachi, & 70s rock music; tours of the Reserve; lifeguard themed activities & games; & booths featuring retired Border Field State Park Rangers, I Love a Clean San Diego, Chula Vista Nature Center, & native Kumeyaay arts & crafts.
