The 40th annual Oktoberfest presented by German American Societies at clubhouse and beer garden include German food, music by Guggenbach-Buam, folk dancing, games, contests, vendors, craft booths, kids' zone. Parade and ceremonial "Tapping the Wooden Keg" (October 1 and 8, 4:00 PM). Chicken Hat Day chicken hat contest hosted by El Cajon Mayor Mark Lewis (October 9). Dancing in clubhouse (8:00 PM to Midnight).
