Every October Little Italy Festa melds together almost all of the elements of all the other Little Italy celebrations. Drawing more than one hundred thousand, Little Italy Festa is the largest Italian event on the West Coast. Festa combines an Italian motorsport show, a stickball tournament, a huge array of food and crafts. Festa also has four stages of continuous entertainment, with bands and performers that range from Italian crooners like David Patrone and the Pizzaro brothers to big bands such at the ?Big Daddy Orchestra? to acoustic ensembles such as Nova Menco. This year's Festa promises Gesso Italiano chalk painting contest, bocce ball tournament, stickball exhibition game, Italian motorsport show, cooking demonstrations, art displays, live entertainment, and vendors offering food for sale.
