The San Diego Latino Film Festival is proud to present its 12th Annual Cinema en tu Idioma Film Series showcasing new Latin American, Mexican and Spanish Cinema. The 4-month series will continue in October with the return of audience favorite Del Amor y Otros Demonios, starring Pablo Derqui and Eliza Triana.

Sierva Maria (Eliza Triana), the 13-year old daughter of nobles, finds her life turned upside down when she's bitten by a rabid dog, and afterward is believed to be under the spell of demons, in this tale of forbidden love during the Spanish Inquisition. When it's decided that Sierva must submit to an exorcism, young priest Cayetano Delaura (Pablo Derqui) is assigned the task, but ultimately he finds himself possessed by Sierva's stirring sexuality. Starring Damian Alcazar, Eliza Triana, and Pablo Derqui. Run time: 92 minutes

* Literary inspiration meets the magic of cinema! Opening weekend festivities include a Latin American Literature Book Exchange on Saturday, October 8 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm at the UltraStar Mission Valley Cinemas! Professor Bill Nericcio will introduce the 8:30pm screening of Del Amor y Otros Demonios.

Admission: $10 for General Audiences / $8 for Students, seniors & Media Arts Center San Diego members. Individual tickets can be purchased prior to each screening.
